If you’ve completed our one-day Level One course and want to take your skills to the next level of professionalism, then this advanced perfume making course is the course for you.
You’ll be taught by the master, our chief perfumer, John Stephen, who will pass on his knowledge in an engaging and informative manner as he describes the process involved in making commercially viable perfumes.
Level Two courses are open to graduates of our Level One course who want to expand their knowledge and create custom perfumes either out of personal interest and/or as a business. You'll learn how to create more complex fragrances, discover the professional requirements for perfume creation and understand the legislation involved. The course also covers essential components of an advanced perfume course including toxicology, allergens and packaging requirements.
You’ll spend much of the time experimenting with a different selection of interesting ingredients which you will be introduced to and you will make samples of your very own bespoke perfumes to take home with you, together with their specification so that you can reorder them and/or refine and develop them further.
In order to check the health and legal requirements associated with your perfume specifications an automated Spreadsheet procedure is used. If you are unfamiliar or rusty in using Excel don't worry, please contact us and we can arrange a painless, top-up Spreadsheet training course for you.
The cost of the course includes refreshments as well as lunch in a pretty riverside restaurant in beautiful Bourton-on-the-Water.
